What is Homeopathy? 

Homeopathy is an Alternative &  Complimentary natural Medicine which treats you as an individual and a whole person (physically, mentally & emotionally). It is safe & effective and recognized by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. The Medicines (Remedies) used in Homeopathy are from natural resources and prepared in extremely small doses, diluted so much that the toxicity is removed leaving only the healing energy property.
 
The concept is that "less is more" when speaking of the remedies and "like heals like" when speaking of the process of how it works. If a set of symptoms in a person are similar to a substances (remedy's) symptom picture then the vital force (our animate aliveness) is stimulated to heal itself on all levels of our Being.
 
The Principals and System of Homeopathy
was developed over 200 years ago by a German Physician & Chemist named Samuel Hahnemann. The same medicines (remedies) that were used then are still proving effective today, without the side effects that we experience when using newer more conventional medicines.
Occupational/Hand Therapy integrated with Homeopathy
Hand Therapy, as in the conventional medical system, is the treatment of any condition, syndrome &/or injury of the hand & upper extremity. We use massage techniques & modalities and custom fabricate splints and adaptive equipment to regain optimal function in your daily life.

Professional Therapy
 
For over 20 years Donna Zappettini has integrated her skills of Occupational Therapy (OT) in the specialty of Hand Therapy with her growing practice in Classical Homeopathy (a truly holistic medicine). Donna received her B.S. degree in OT from SJSU, San Jose, CA then went on to complete a Fellowship in Hand Therapy from Texas Woman's University & Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX (9 units Masters). She furthered her studies in Classical Homeopathy, graduating from HASC's 3 year program in Carlsbad, CA.

Her passion is in assisting people in their healing process toward their highest quality of life. Her unique qualities are her dedication and tenacity. People who have been helped by her say, "she listens to me and I feel heard."
